Khoj Studios Presents In Context:public.art.ecology
New Delhi: In continuation with its vision to promote alternative art practices, particularly in the domain of public art, KHOJ International Artists’ Association presents a multi-dimensional art project emerging out of a six-week residency program around the numerous ecologies of the city. The project supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in India entitled In Context:Public.Art.Ecology functions artists from India, Germany, Japan and USA. The works will be on view at 3 venues such as the Khoj Studios, public spaces at the Pick City Walk Mall and 20 Barakhamba Road from 8th April- 16th April 2010. Gender Research: Exploring the Differences Between Men and Women
Have you ever wondered why a man can seemingly read a map blindfolded but can’t uncover his own socks? The reason may be found in his genetic make-up. Gender investigation is discovering that men and women actually perceive reality differently. In one university experiment that tested the differences between men and ladies, students were blindfolded although an experimenter who served as a guide walked them through a complicated maze of tunnels that run beneath campus buildings. Following traversing this maze, women were asked to locate a familiar college developing. Nearly each and every woman in the gender study experiment was uncertain and unable to locate it.
