Understanding Thermochemistry And Thermodynamics
Thermochemistry is the study of the heat released or absorbed as a result of chemical reactions. It is a branch of thermodynamics and is utilized by a wide range of scientists and engineers. For example, biochemists use thermochemistry to understand bioenergetics, whereas chemical engineers apply it to design manufacturing plants. Chemical reactions involve the conversion of a set of substances collectively referred to as “reactants” to a set of substances collectively referred to as “products.” In the following balanced chemical reaction the reactants are gaseous methane, CH4 (g), and gaseous molecular oxygen, O2 (g), and the products are gaseous carbon dioxide, CO2 (g), and liquid water H2O (l): CH4 (g) + 2O2 (g) → CO2 (g) + 2H2 O (l) (1) Reactions in which a fuel combines with … Read entire article »
Falling Mathematics Results-An Introspection
FALLING MATHEMATICS Outcomes- AN INTROSPECTION It is a matter of excellent concern and significant consequences that the results of Mathematics in the AISSE examination at the end of class-X and AISSCE examination at the end of class-XII conducted by CBSE is falling at an alarming rate of three to 5% each year. Exact same is the case with other state boards too. To check this shocking downslide, the syllabi have been modified a number of times, the question papers have been simplified, the evaluation of answer scripts have been made lenient, but all these efforts are yet to give better results in the topic or make it student friendly. Introspection in this respect is an absolute necessity. I feel that such a state of affairs is since there have been weaknesses in Mathematics … Read entire article »
Avulsion Injury
Sorts of avulsions Ear Eyelid Nail Nerve (brachial plexus) Skin Tooth Surgical Ear avulsions The ear is especially vulnerable to avulsion injuries due to its exposed position on the side of the head. The most typical cause of these injuries is human bites, followed by falls, motor vehicle accidents, and dog bites. A partially avulsed ear can be reattached by means of suturing or microvascular surgery, depending on the severity of the injury. Microvascular surgery can also be used to reattach a entirely avulsed ear, but its success rate is lower because of the want for venous drainage. The ear can also be reconstructed with cartilage and skin grafts. Eyelid avulsions … Read entire article »
